Isn’t it amazing that God can even use persecution to grow the Church? The Bible says in today’s reading that the Apostles were scattered to Judea and Samaria because of persecution. Up until this time the Gospel hadn’t left Jerusalem. Jesus though had called the disciples to take the Good News to Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth. God used persecution to move the Apostles to the next stage of their Great Commission journey. God can and does use bad things in our life to further his purposes. In fact he promises us that EVERYTHING works for the good of those who love Him. What an amazing God we serve!
